Below you'll find our calendar of important dates for the 2026–2027 dance season. Each month expands to show key events, including class start and end dates, studio closures, holidays, performances, dress rehearsals, tuition deadlines, and other important reminders.

We encourage all MEM Dance Theatre families to check the calendar regularly, as new events and updates may be added throughout the season.

  • Sat 9/12: Nutcracker Ballet Auditions

    Mon, 9/14: Welcome Back! First Day of Classes!

  • Mon, 10/5 - Sat, 10/10: Bring a Buddy & Try a New Class Week!

    Mon, 10/12: State holiday - classes WILL be held

    Sat, 10/31: Halloween - morning classes WILL be held, NO Nutcracker or Company classes

  • Wed, 11/11: Veteran’s Day classes WILL be held

    Mon, 11/16: Experience MEMDT Costume Deposit Due

    Mon, 11/23-Sat, 11/28: Thanksgiving Recess - NO CLASSES

    Sat, 11/28: Nutcracker Ballet Rehearsal at MEMDT - Crew load in props/sets at MEMDT, then unload at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

    Sun, 11/29: Mandatory Nutcracker Ballet Tech/Dress Rehearsal at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

  • Thu, 12/3 & Fri, 12/4: Nutcracker Ballet School Morning Performances at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

    Sat, 12/5 & Sun, 12/6: Nutcracker Ballet Public Performances at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

    Tue, 12/15: Experience MEMDT Costume Balances Due

    Mon, 12/21: Sharing the Arts Together Auditions

    Mon, 12/21-Sat, 1/9: Winter Recess - NO CLASSES - Happy Holidays!

  • Mon, 1/11: Classes resume - Happy New Year!

    Mon, 1/18: Marther Luther King Jr. Day - classes WILL be held

  • Mon, 2/15-Sat, 2/20: February Recess NO CLASSES - Company rehearsals will be held

  • Fri, 3/12: Mandatory Sharing the Arts Together Tech/Dress Rehearsal at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

    Sat 3/13 & Sun, 3/14: Sharing the Arts Together Performances at Monty Tech, Fitchburg

  • Mon, 4/19-Sat, 4/24: April Recess - NO CLASSES

    Thu, 4/29: International Dance Day! Celebrate Dance!

  • Sat, 5/22: Experience MEMDT 6 PM Finale Rehearsal & Pizza Party!

    Wed, 5/26-Tue, 6/1: Memorial Day Break - NO CLASSES

  • Wed, 6/2: Classes Resume

    Sat, 6/5: Last Day of Regular Classes

    Tue, 6/8: Acting I & II Exercises in Scene Building Performance at MEMDT

    Thu, 6/10-Fri, 6/11: Experience MEMDT Dress Rehearsals at Monty Tech, Fitchburg
